Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian-American pianist Geísa Dutra
has captivated audiences with her musical versatility, powerful,
and expressive performances. Her humor and joie de vivre have
made for engaging and informative Keynote Concerts at Conferences,
Performances and Master Classes. She is the recipient of the 2019
Focus Brasil Award, 2017 4Culture Grant Award and 2013 Artist Trust
GAP Award in Washington. Geísa’s recordings include her debut album
Brazilian and Spanish Piano Works; Chopin, Preludes; El Ultimo Tango,
Six Tangos by Astor Piazzolla; The Spanish Piano and her latest album
Gingando (23 short pieces from Brazil) to be released in 2021.
Geísa Dutra has performed in Europe,North and South America on
Classical music radio stations, NPR as well as Brazilian television.
